Christmas Stockings

Ever since I went into Pier 1 last week, Christmas has been on my mind. I adore Christmas, I think it may be my favourite time of year. I love decorating for it, especially in the past couple of years since I moved out on my own. I have been looking at stockings on etsy this week and think I may buy one. My childhood one is in Edmonton, and my replacement one in London doesn't have much sentimental value to me. So I'm going to find a new one to last me for many years to come. Here are the contenders so far, and I few that just caught my eye.


This is Conrad the monster from RedMarionette on esty.  He's very unconventional but awesome.

I could go the traditional route with one of these from nowhiningpleez.

 The reindeer and the penguin are my favourite and I'm torn between which one to get. I really love the retro feel of them. I'm leaning towards the reindeer, but my eye keeps coming back to the penguin. Perhaps I should get one for Jules the cat as well?  They're from MrButton on etsy.
