Cruisin'

I have been thinking about buying a bicycle lately. I have a junky old, and rusted bike, but I really want one of those retro looking cruisers. My first choice would be one of the Electra brand cruisers. However they start at about $600 and I don't have that kind of moola. I went to a store today in London called To Wheels and the guy working there was so helpful. He recommended the Giant brand as a cheaper alternative. I'm torn between the 1 speed and the 3 speed bikes. The 3 speed bike costs 70 dollars more than the 1 speed. However, I feel like if I'm going to spend a bunch of money on a bike, it would be foolish to cheap out now. So I'm leaning towards the 3 speed (which is the first bike pictured). It's much more than I wanted to spend, but I figure if I ride my bike most places this summer it will balance out with a bus pass (kind of...) The bottom photo is the butterfly style electra bike, although not the prettiest one but it came up quickly in an image search. As much as I would adore one, I just can't justify that kind of purchase at this point in my life. Maybe some day...
