thwarted twice in as many days...

I went to Marvel yesterday morning to get my hair cut and dyed, only to be turned away. They were short on students who knew how to dye, and so they stopped taking people at 10:00. I got there are 10:45. Gah! So I'll try and go back on Wednesday morning. I want to dye my hair black again and I'm going to take the plunge and get bangs!

Tonight was my friend Emily's birthday party. I worked all day at the library and was exhausted, but I mustered my strength, chugged a cup of coffee and gussied myself up. I got to the restaurant only to find there was no reservation and no one was there. So I called the birthday girl only to discover it had been postponed and the friend responsible for letting everyone know did not call me. I am very upset, but what are you gonna do? So I took some photos and thought I'd share.
