Tribal Mountain Trade

I went back to Tribal Mountain Trade today (although to the Richmond Row location, not Masonville) and tried to see if I could get the horned earrings in white or wood. Unfortunately they don't offer them in anything but black, although the sales lady told me she remembers they had a light wood once. So I'll have to check in periodically. Maybe I'll get lucky! I absolutely love my black earrings, I just wish they didn't blend in with my hair so much. I love the style of earring and don't want to have to stretch my holes just to get the effect.

The very kind sales lady also had a recommendation regarding the white pair. She suggested taking an emery board to the post and shaving it down. Because it is BONE!  I had no idea I bought earrings made out of bone. I didn't ask what kind or where they got it, but now I am damn curious. So I bought a second set of posts in case I screw up. Hopefully it goes well. And now back to study for my dreaded midterm tomorrow...
