So I've been reading all of these wonderful design and decorating blogs for awhile now, and have been toying with the idea of starting my own. Since I'm in the middle of midterms right now, I thought that I would procrastinate on the studying front and finally start a blog of my own.
I'm also loving the site http://www.etsy.com/ right now. I've been spending way too much time on it everyday. I even made my first purchase this past weekend. It's a t-shirt with a pair of lungs and heart on it by variousandsundry. I know, a little morbid, but still cool. I got it in emerald, so hopefully it's somewhat close to the colour in the picture. I like a lot of the seller's designs, but alas I cannot afford anymore right now. It'll have to wait a bit longer.
I got an ebay purchase in the mail today which was very exciting. It's a pink and brown sugar bowl in the shape of a cupcake. So cute! You can't see if very well in the picture, but the stripes and polka dots are glittery. Quite the surprise, but a pleasant one.

I also found a set of vintage towels that I really like, they'd go perfectly in my bathroom (once I get around to painting it). With shipping it would come to around $50 which unfortunately isn't in the budget. So I'll just have to pine for them a little while longer.
And that's about it for my first post. Now I'm off to consume large amounts of coffee and get back to studying.
